The collection contains a land patent engraved on vellum to Thomas Walker for 985 acres in Augusta County, signed by Francis Fauquier. (water damaged, ribbon and seal missing). There is also a lithograph print of George Washington, published by M. H. Traubel, Philadelphia 1855. "Engraved exclusively for and Dedicated to the Members of J. W. Smith's Joint Stock Enterprise and Peoples Excelsior Association." (not listed in any of the standard accounts of Washington portraits). The collectiona also contains a photograph of an unidentified football team and a facsimile of the U. S. Constitution.
